Crushing Injury – Master P, London

Master P was playing out with his friend and went to have a look at an old mill close to his home that was about to be demolished. He was only 12 years old at the time.

The area had not been fenced off and he was able to get very close to the old concrete slab posts surrounding the mill.  Some of the posts and slabs were damaged and as he leaned over to look at the diggers, one of the slabs that was already broken crashed down and landed on one of his hands. He suffered a serious crushing injury.

Despite a strong denial of liability fought his case and he was awarded £6,000.
